Mechanics

1. This promo is open to inactive principal PNB JCB Platinum cardholders who applied from September 25, 2026 to December 31, 2026, and was subsequently approved.
2. Promo period is from September 25, 2026 – January 31, 2027.
3. Cardholders must activate their card within the activation period and reach the minimum spend requirement within the spend period.

•  Customers who meet the minimum spend requirement will receive a notification via SMS and/or email advisory to inform them that they have qualified for the FREE ANNUAL FEE FOR LIFE offer.

• Both posted domestic and cross border retail transactions and merchant installments are qualified for the minimum spend requirement.

• The following transactions are not qualified for the spend requirement for the FREE ANNUAL FEE FOR LIFE offer:

  • Credit Card Fees and Charges
  • Reversed / disputed transactions
  • Cash Advance transactions
  • Non-merchant installments
  • Payment transactions
  • Gambling transactions (Merchant Category Codes: 7995, 9406, 7801, 7802, 7800)
  • Money Transfer-Merchant (Merchant Category Code: 4829)
  • Manual and Automated Cash Disbursements (Merchant Category Codes: 6010, 6011)
  • Quasi-cash (Merchant Category Codes: 6050, 6051)
  • PSP Merchant Payment (Merchant Category Code: 6533)
  • Money Send (Merchant Category Code: 6537)
  • POI Funding (Merchant Category Code: 6540)

  Note: Merchant Category Codes (MCCs) are used to classify establishments and merchants based on the nature of their business. PNB has no control over the assignment of MCCs. PNB only follows the MCC assignment of the merchant’s acquiring bank.

• Supplementary cardholder transactions shall form part of the principal cardholder’s spend requirement.

• This promotion will not apply in conjunction with any other existing bank acquisition promotion.

• Cardholders who replace, upgrade, downgrade, or convert their PNB JCB Platinum Card to another credit card product will not be eligible to participate in this promo. PNB also reserves the right to post or charge the applicable annual fee to such cardholders, even after the promo period.

• The cardholder should maintain his/her card account in active and current status for at least 12 months from approval. Otherwise, PNB may charge back the annual fee amount to the cardholder’s account.
