PHP transactions must be charged to a BDO Credit Card.
USD transactions must be charged to a BDO Dual Currency Credit Card or BDO American Express® International Dollar Cards.
All transactions must meet the minimum single-receipt purchase of P3,000 for PHP or USD200 for USD.
Availment must not be more than sixty (60) days from the transaction date. Processing time will take 5 banking days.
Transaction from Supplementary and Virtual Cards may be converted to installment provided that application will be requested by the Principal Cardholder.
The following transactions/MCCs are disqualified from Purchase Convert:
Transactions associated with gambling, money transfers or other similar cash transactions. MCC Codes: 7995, 9406 and 9754
Cash and other money transfer transactions like Cash Advance and cash-in to load e-wallets / prepaid cards such as PayMaya, GCash or any similar transactions. MCC Codes:4821, 4829, 6010, 6011, 6012, 6040, 6050, 6051, 6211, 6532, 6533, 6536, 6537, 6538, 6540 and 7012
Other BDO installment transactions or any amortizing transaction like 0% interest, Regular Installment, etc.

Multiple availments will result to imposition of Installment Availment Fee for every transaction. To avoid duplicate processing of Purchase Convert request, please ensure that transaction conversion request is made through only one application channel. Application status will be sent via SMS using registered mobile number after five (5) banking days.
Any availment made through other channels may result to double processing and that the cancellation, if there is any, may be charged an Installment Processing Fee.
An Installment Availment Fee of P100 for every approved PHP transaction for amounts up to P20,000, P200 for every approved PHP transaction for amounts above P20,000, USD5 for every approved USD transaction will be charged. The Installment Availment Fee is non-refundable and will be due even if Cardholder decides to pay the entire remaining balance before the end of the payment term.
The Total add-on interest of the Purchase Convert request will be deducted from the available credit limit. If the total add-on interest exceeds the available credit limit, BDO shall continue to process the Purchase Convert request up to 20% overlimit and earmark the excess amount against the Cardholder’s credit limit. Cardholder shall continue to pay the monthly amortization of the approved Purchase Convert transaction and will only be able to use the card once credit limit is refreshed or becomes available.
The sample computation below illustrates a Cardholder with single-retail transaction that fully utilizes the available credit limit. If Cardholder applied for Purchase Convert on the retail transaction for 12 months, credit limit will be exceeded due to total interest. Cardholder will not be able to use his card for at least one (1) month until payment has been made and enough to free up his credit limit.
In case the card is temporarily blocked by the Cardholder through BDO Pay, BDO Online app or BDO Online web at the time of processing the request, Cardholder authorizes BDO to continue processing the Purchase Convert request and to post the approved Purchase Convert transaction to the card.
All Purchase Convert applications are subject to BDO’s approval and once approved shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) of the Purchase Convert Program and the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of BDO Credit Cards.
Monthly installment due to Purchase Convert applications for transactions using Principal, Supplementary or Virtual Card, together with monthly interest and penalty charge (if any) will be billed to the Principal Cardholder starting on the next statement cycle after the Purchase Convert transaction posting date and every month thereafter until the total amount payable is paid in full.
Purchase Convert applications that have been submitted or requested can no longer be reversed or cancelled. However, cancellation requests arising from a merchant refund may be considered if submitted within 30 calendar days from installment posting date and, where applicable, are accompanied by complete and satisfactory supporting documents. Cancellation requests are subject to a processing fee, except for merchant refund related requests submitted within 30 calendar days from the posting date, in which case no processing fee shall be charged.
BDO may, at its sole and absolute option, accommodate Cardholder’s request to accelerate the charging of the full amount of the remaining unbilled monthly amortization/s on the Purchase Convert installment transactions, provided that the Cardholder's total outstanding balance due for the pertinent monthly billing cycle is paid in full. Further, a corresponding Installment Processing Fee of 5% of the total remaining balance or P500 for PHP-denominated transactions or USD10 for USD-denominated transactions, whichever is higher, will be charged to the Cardholder’s account. After BDO has approved the Cardholder's acceleration, the total accelerated amount due and the corresponding Installment Processing Fee shall form part of the total outstanding amount due for the pertinent monthly billing cycle and must be paid in full.
For program-related complaints, BDO will handle complaints within 7 to 10 banking days from receipt of complaint, provided with complete information, proof of purchase and other supporting documents.

The Purchase Convert Program/Facility of BDO allows a Cardholder in good standing to convert his/her BDO Credit Card recent straight transactions to installment.
BDO shall have the absolute and exclusive right to approve or reject applications for Purchase Convert. The total add-on interest will be deducted from the available credit limit. BDO has the sole discretion to approve only a portion of the amount applied for. In case of rejection of the application, BDO is under no obligation to notify the Cardholder of the said rejection and of the reason thereof.
The Cardholder acknowledges liability to BDO for any Purchase Convert transaction request that has been implemented and the amount of Purchase Convert transaction together with interest and penalty charges, if any, will form part of the Cardholder's payment obligation to his BDO Credit Card.
The principal and interest components of the monthly installments are computed based on diminishing balance and may differ from month to month.
The Cardholder acknowledges that there may be a slight difference between the actual monthly installment billed and computed monthly installment presented in a sample computation, such as but not limited to, sample computation published on the website or relayed via a recorded call. The Cardholder acknowledges that the agreed monthly installment computed using the corresponding factor rate may differ from the monthly installment computed and generated by BDO system due to rounding off of the corresponding factor rate, which is automated in BDO’s system. Cardholder consents and authorizes BDO to round off the corresponding factor rate, including the monthly installment computed amount as a result thereof.
In cases of suspension, cancellation and/or non-renewal of the BDO Credit Card due to non-payment or breach of any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of BDO Credit Cards, the same shall automatically render all the outstanding obligations of the Cardholder under the Purchase Convert Program of BDO due and demandable without need of a prior notice.
To avoid duplicate processing, the Cardholder understands that an application must be submitted through only one availment channel. In the event of a duplicate application resulting in the duplicate processing of Purchase Convert request by BDO, or in the event of any error in the application details, the Cardholder shall remain liable to BDO for the amount converted to installment plus Total Interest and Installment Availment Fee.

For approved Purchase Convert transactions, the Credit Card Peso Points earned from its initial straight transaction/s shall be deducted from the cardholder’s Credit Card Peso Points balance. Said deducted Credit Card Peso Points can be earned back through its corresponding monthly amortizations.
Approved Purchase Convert applications shall not be eligible to earn rebates or miles.
The Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of the BDO Credit Cards shall continue to apply to the Purchase Convert Program and to the Cardholder’s availment of such Program and shall be deemed incorporated with and made integral parts of these Terms and Conditions. In case of conflict between the above stated provisions and the BDO Credit Card Terms and Conditions, the latter shall prevail.
The Cardholder’s use/availment of the Purchase Convert Program constitutes the Cardholder’s agreement to the above Terms and Conditions.
